Because it's Gross That's Why
I'm pretty sure Buck is going to call me a pussy for doing this, but i have taken the liberty of removing the song "I'm Sorry Mr. President" from my various internet sites.
I'm sure, the internet being what it is, it's probably still floating around out there in various forms, but for my part it's no longer on my site, or various myspaces/facebooks/etc.
Why? I'd like to say it was out of a spirit of national good will and reconciliation that is sweeping the nation on this inaugurations eve: but in reality, to paraphrase my good friend Kimby G: the song, originally written as an amusing riff on two bottle-blonde fuck-ups who will most likely fail their way to the top like their no-account, dim-witted, chickenshit, daddy, has, in light of recent events, now become grounds for a visit from the secret service.
And just as the Bushes had to pack up their Billy Big Mouth Bass and their near-beer for the Obamas to unload their (I assume) awesome CD Collection, it is time for Barbara and Jenna to canter out to pasture with the Paris Hiltons, the Julia Alisons the other people who are famous for doing absolutely nothing.
And besides...i'm about ready to like a first family for a change. I know Sasha and Malia are into them Jonas Brothers...perhaps they'll like The Sports:

I really, really mean it. Thank you to everyone who voted for Scotty Got an Office Job.
With the polls closed, it looks like I didn't win the 2008 Weblog award for next video blog...but the show got over 600 votes. And that's really really awesome.
When you make something, usually the point is for people to see it and like it. Whether it's a TV show, a rock concert, or a dinky web series with delusions of grandeur.
But having people, many of which i know personally, some i've never even met, take the time to click a button to vote for my little vlog/webcast/media empire is more than just icing on the cake...it's like a whole 'nother cake i wasn't expecting to get and it was brought to the party by a complete stranger...
...or a friend i haven't seen in eleven months.
So, I'm glad you like the show...and i'm more glad that you like it enough to spread the word. There's a song from a show I haven't seen that goes "I'd rather be 9 people's favorite thing, than 100 people's 9th favorite thing". In this case, if you're one of the 9, thank you. And if i'm your 9th...i'm just glad to make the list.
Anyway, I'm just finishing up the first episode of Season 2.
