I really, really mean it. Thank you to everyone who voted for Scotty Got an Office Job.
With the polls closed, it looks like I didn't win the 2008 Weblog award for next video blog...but the show got over 600 votes. And that's really really awesome.
When you make something, usually the point is for people to see it and like it. Whether it's a TV show, a rock concert, or a dinky web series with delusions of grandeur.
But having people, many of which i know personally, some i've never even met, take the time to click a button to vote for my little vlog/webcast/media empire is more than just icing on the cake...it's like a whole 'nother cake i wasn't expecting to get and it was brought to the party by a complete stranger...
...or a friend i haven't seen in eleven months.
So, I'm glad you like the show...and i'm more glad that you like it enough to spread the word. There's a song from a show I haven't seen that goes "I'd rather be 9 people's favorite thing, than 100 people's 9th favorite thing". In this case, if you're one of the 9, thank you. And if i'm your 9th...i'm just glad to make the list.
Anyway, I'm just finishing up the first episode of Season 2.
